heh... i was blog hoppin as usual... and the content of a couple of blogs stirred a bit of a response in me...
i think alot of issues with regards to relationships arise due to the lack of an open communication... it is easy to say open communication is a piece of cake...
in my opinion... it is very difficult to put in practice...
i suppose it has got somethin to do with expectations and pride...
like when your boy does somethin exceedingly insensitive... and you expect him to apologize almost immediately... but bein the pigs that men are... your boy dismisses it as he would the weather... and you are almost to proud to say you were injured by his tactless comments... sEE... it is not too easy afterall...
after a good fourteen months of being a girl friend... i have learnt to humble myself... instead of keepin mum and allowin my pride to be such a pain in the ass...
i have learnt to throw the issue on the table and thrash it out with my boy...
like "darlin... do you know that by blah ... it is very hurtful and blah..."
and then nelly would apologize and take care not to do it again...
it is not so much of bein the humble pie gobbler... it is the process of learnin to give and take... i think when you want the relationship to work... winnin or losin naturally becomes somethin very secondary...
i think bringing up the past is pretty unhealthy to a relationship too... admittedly it is not somethin very easy to do... but it is no way impossible...
anyway... how do you define the word "knowing a person"...
don't say stupid things la can...
